Getting started with CutClub

Welcome to CutClub. This guide covers what the game is, how to get in, and what your first season looks like.

What is CutClub?

CutClub is a season-based music game for people with opinions and taste to defend. Every week, your club gets a theme. Everyone submits one song. The club votes. Points stack. At the end of the season, one person wins.

It's part game, part music discovery, part group chat chaos.

How to access CutClub

CutClub runs in the browser at playcutclub.com. The web app is built to work well on mobile, so no install is required. A native app for iOS and Android is in the works.

What you need to get started

• An account at playcutclub.com
• A group of people to play with
• One person willing to be the host (they set up and manage the season)

You don't need Spotify, a specific music app, or Slack. Those things make it better, but none of them are required.

Quick start

1. Sign up at playcutclub.com
2. Start a season and invite your people
3. Set your season length (8, 10, or 12 weeks)
4. Wait for the first theme to drop
5. Submit your cut, vote, talk trash
