How voting works

How points are distributed, what the rules are, and how the winner is decided each week.

Voting is how each matchup gets decided. After the submission deadline, every player votes on the picks and points get distributed.

The basics

  • You distribute points across your top picks. The exact format depends on your season settings, but you're spreading a limited pool of points across the songs you think deserve them.
  • You can't vote for your own submission. Everyone votes on everyone else's picks.
  • Voting is open until the deadline. After that, results lock and the reveal happens.

Anonymous until the end

Submissions are hidden during the voting phase. You see the songs, not the names. This keeps votes honest and the reveal more fun. After voting closes, everything goes public: who picked what, who voted for whom, and how the points landed.

Season settings

Hosts can adjust the voting format when setting up the season. The default works well for most clubs, but you have control over how points are weighted and distributed.

Results

After voting closes, the leaderboard updates. The player with the most points from that matchup wins the round. Season standings update to reflect the new scores.
