Survivor mode

How Survivor mode works in CutClub: elimination rounds, high stakes, last player standing wins.

Survivor mode raises the stakes. After every matchup, the lowest scorer is out. The season keeps going until one player is left standing.

How it works

The matchup structure is the same as Classic, but after each round, elimination kicks in. There's no safe week: every matchup matters.

Elimination rules

After each matchup's results are calculated, eliminations happen in this order:

  1. No submission: any player who didn't submit a cut is eliminated
  2. No vote: any player who didn't vote is eliminated
  3. Lowest score: the player with the fewest points that round is eliminated

Skipping a round isn't an option in Survivor. Not submitting or not voting gets you eliminated before scores even come into it.

Ties at the bottom

If multiple players tie for last place, all of them are eliminated. The one exception: if eliminating all tied players would leave fewer than 2 players in the game, score-based elimination is skipped for that round. No-submission and no-vote eliminations still apply.

Late submissions

Late submissions are disabled in Survivor. The deadline is the deadline.

After you're eliminated

Being eliminated doesn't mean you stop watching. Eliminated players can still:

  • View matchup results, comments, and reactions
  • See how the remaining players are doing

You just can't submit or vote anymore. Your name stays in the standings with a note showing which matchup you were eliminated in and why.

How the season ends

The season ends when one player remains: that player wins. If the season runs out of scheduled matchups before a single winner emerges, the player with the most total points among the remaining players wins.

Immunity tokens (coming soon)

Immunity tokens will let a player protect themselves from elimination for one round. Tokens can be earned by winning a matchup or granted by the host. This feature is in development and not yet available.
